Benefits

An access control system allows you to keep track of who is coming and going in a specific building. But it also allows you to control which areas in a building require additional security, especially if they’re high-risk or contain sensitive information. It can also reduce the necessity for traditional keys, which are problematic when lost, as this only leads to locks being needed to be replaced.

The good news is that Falco’s access control systems are easy to manage, as long as it’s properly set up in a facility. Their access controllers can be set up in a multi-site architecture setting, with the main site that controls all the local site companies through the Vault Enterprise System. The other sites use local site controllers.

Applications

Applications

Falco’s access controllers have several applications:

Door Control

Falco’s IP Door Controllers support single or double doors, which helps ensure limitless flexibility during installation. It has the capacity for up to 150k users and 80k events. Because of the high-speed data transmission to the server and patented card searching algorithm, it’s capable of searching the card database within 1 second.

PoE Door Control

Falco’s PoE Door Access Controllers are a great choice if you’re looking for something that doesn’t require the installation of power points and electrical cabling. Some of the benefits of this are that it’s easier, faster, and more cost-effective to implement.

Turnstile Control

Turnstiles are mechanical gates that only allow one person to pass through at a time. It’s a great access control device to limit who accesses a building. Falco’s Turnstile Control can alert security teams when there’s a security breach and also provide a map of the immediate vicinity of the alert — which improves decision-making and response time.

Elevator Control

Falco’s Lift Access Controller makes it easier to restrict access to specific elevators and specific floors. It can also be used to improve customer relations because lift usage priority can be given to VIPs and important guests. It supports up to 64 floors, up to 150k users, and 80k events.

Parking Control

For building car parks, Falco’s IP Parking Controller is suitable, as it supports 2x barriers — which includes 1x in and 1x out. This is expandable to 2x in and 2x out barriers if needed. Just like other Falco Access Controllers, this comes with advanced technology features, such as high-speed transmission, secure technology, and larger storage.

Integration With Alarms

Falco’s Access Controllers can be integrated with alarms if needed. It supports up to 32 zones, up to 150k users, and 80k events. The access controller can receive notifications when there are unauthorized intrusions, device tampering, or security breach.

Vault Enterprise

Vault Enterprise is Falco’s enterprise access control integrated system. It allows companies to administrate the system from a single location, remotely. It offers total mobility, as users can access the platform to connect to the system.

The Vault Enterprise Site is a software module that works in conjunction with the site controllers. It communicates with the Vault Enterprise Central, which centralizes and manages all the information from the sites.

Key Takeaway

Falco’s access controllers can help improve the safety of your building from outsiders and intruders. By restricting access to your property, you can protect the users and occupants of a building while keeping information and assets safe.
