PROJECT BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Memory Villa was born out of a deep concern for our elders, especially those living with dementia, who often find themselves in places that feel more like institutions than homes. Set on a 6.56-hectare site in Biñan City, Laguna, this project reimagines dementia care as a compassionate village rather than a facility. It creates a nurturing environment where every path, building, and garden tells a story: from the Villas for early-stage dementia, to the Manor for moderate stages, and the Haven for those needing full-time care, all connected by a gentle Wandering Loop designed to spark memories and guide movement safely. With its blend of natural light, passive cooling, textured finishes, and sensory cues, Memory Villa restores dignity, independence, and community for its residents—offering not just care but a true home and a model for future dementia-centered communities in the Philippines.
