PROJECT BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Hybridization in Architecture: Facilitating the Adaptive Resilience of the Indigenous Public Vehicles in Cavite City through Assemblage and Syntactic Approach

The Cavite Indigenous Transportation Empowerment Complex (CavITEC) reimagines typical mixed-use approaches to transit development. The project is anchored on the investigation of the applicability of assemblage and syntactic approach to illustrate the IPV industry as a system and assemblage linked by activities. The result of this investigation is the successful identification and cross-mixing of individual assemblage spatial programs to create a hybrid typology that safeguards the indigenous transport industry and facilitates its just transition to modernization.
