Introducing the Electronic Employee Requisition Portal

The search for the right person for the right job who will embrace Multi-Line’s culture and would stay in the company is always a dilemma for the Human Resource Department. As this problem arise, one employee thought of a solution to help them make the search easier. He is Mr. Raymund Edora, a System Programmer from Filipinas Multi-Line Corp, and he created the Electronic Employee Requisition Portal.
The Electronic Employee Requisition Portal is a system that is used to collect and store data on all Multi-Line employees and handles all the company’s recruiting needs. The goal of the project is to help the company track the candidate’s information and resumes, enables human resources team to match job openings to suitable candidates from the company’s application pool and helps in guiding the hiring process. The project also aims to monitor the performance of the HR Assistants on the speed in the recruitment of applicants.
The project started on May 2022 and was finished last October 2022. Mr. Edora’s aspiration is to help the company and innovate the recruitment process as he learns new things and comes up with creative ideas to help and assist the Human Resources Department. Though a lot of problem was encountered during the process of developing the system like errors and bugs, it was done through the help and supervision of Mr. Erwin Caloing, the System Programmer Supervisor of FMC.
When Mr. Edora was asked for his advice to others in pursuing success, he quoted a famous line from the movie 3 Idiots. “Don’t run after success. Pursue excellence and success will follow you,” he quoted.
With a burning desire in his heart and passion in his work, Mr. Edora was able to create a software that will bring a great benefit to the company. Great job!
