Once Upon a Time in El Nido, Palawan

By Fauline Go

April 30 to May 3, 2022 were memorable days for some EverFirst and Multi-Line Employees as they travelled and personally witnessed the beauty of El Nido, Palawan. Among them were Ms. Anweda Enoy, Ms. Helen Actub, Ms. Imelda Estipona, Ms. Maricar Yacat, Ms. Margarita Vinuya, Ms. Lourdes Romero, Mr. Ely Joy Conde, Mr. Mark April Abregana, Ms. Vanessa Belangoy, Ms. Charito Geguiera, and Ms. Luz Gastilo; together with some of their relatives.

El Nido, Palawan is one of the best tourist spots in the Philippines. It is known for having white-sand beaches and clear waters. The place also has diving sites and underwater cavern which make it more popular for day trippers.

For their 4 days and 3 nights stay, they enjoyed El Nido’s wonder and bonded with each other. They traveled for around 6 hours from Puerto Princesa to El Nido on the first day.

The long wait was worth it because they were able to take in the breathtaking scenery along the way. In the following days, they went island hopping, marveled at the natural rock formation on the island, swam in pristine waters, ate together, and shared stories.

Here are some of the highlights as told by our personnel:

– Mark April Abregana, Collection Assistant of EverFirst

– Lourdes Romero, Audit Assistant of EverFirst.

Walang ring ‘KJ’. Good vibes lahat mula sa island hopping hanggang sa three nights na bonding. Masaya puro tawanan lang.” – Imelda Estipona, Area Supervisor of EverFirst

– Maricar Yacat, Area Supervisor of EverFirst

“Highlights talaga nyan yung last day sa Big Lagoon, challenging yung kayak tsaka yung lunch buffet namin, ang sarap ng seafoods.” – Anweda Enoy, District Manager of EverFirst

Ms. Gastilo also shared that even though they were in the midst of their leisure time, they were still able to mention and apply what they have learned from Enculturation.

“Kahit nasa bakasyon palagi nilang binabanggit ang natutunan nila sa Enculturation like 5C’s plus 1, equals Big C particularly on common sense.

More than a vacation, this trip to El Nido was a chance for our beloved personnel to bond and enjoy each other’s company. This is surely something that they will cherish for years to come.
