MBI’s New Chief Accountant

Mr. Rene “Ren” Santos
Rene “Ren” Santos joined the company on June 13, 2022 as the Chief Accountant for Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. (MBI). His primary role is to manage and oversee the daily operations of MBI’s Accountant Department. He directly reports to the Finance Manager, Mr. Richie Chavez.
Ren completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting at the Philippine School of Business Administration in 1992. After a couple of years, he passed the CPA Licensure Examination and continuously pursued the accounting field.
Before joining Multi-Line, Ren had worked in different industries such as car dealership, banking, manufacturing, logistics, architecture, and real estate. He has exposure in all facets of accounting as well as purchasing, payroll, and administration.
During the interview Ren said: “As a newbie, I felt welcomed because madali kausap and i-approach ang mga tao. Na-appreciate ko rin na parang established na ang procedures and processes and online na mostly ang systems.”
When asked how he will guide his team in achieving the company’s goal, Ren answered: “First, I need to learn what job they are doing, listen to them, and know the problems that they have encountered before. From there, I could apply my experiences to guide them. I plan to create a conducive environment for growth through continuous learning experiences. This would eventually benefit the company by having a more competent team.”
