WorldCraft is pleased to introduce its new Chief Accountant, Mr. Charlemagne “Charlie” Añonuevo

 

Charlie is a graduate of BS Accountancy from Meycauayan College in 1999. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, his expertise will be a great help to the company. He was hired on May 18, 2022 and is directly reporting to Mr. Richie Chavez, the Finance Manager. In his free time, he loves driving, cooking, playing chess and trying out other sports activities.

 

As the new Chief Accountant, he is expected to accomplish month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries, to monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations and to do other tasks related to his position.

Charlie said, “As a Chief Accountant, I am in charge of the generation of accurate, relevant and timely reports as required by the company. To attain that, I need to follow SMART Rules – Specific: To provide accurate reports such as Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, SCF and other accounting related Reports; Measurable: To prepare reports free from material misstatement that can mislead the user of the report; Achievable: To meet the company deadline, I need to set internal deadlines and control the data encoding process and improve the procedures to lessen the errors; Relevant:  All the key information needed by the management must be present in the reports; and Timely: To submit the reports on or before the deadline.”

 

He also shared his heart on what motivates him to be successful: “My family gives me motivation. I want them to be proud of me on my achievements in life. I believe that I can do it if I start to get out of my comfort zone and push myself to always perform well,” Charlie said.

 

Charlie is motivated to accept the challenge of being the new Chief Accountant and use his expertise for the benefit of the team.
