Four Promotions to Kick Off 2023

By Kimberly Tianzon

EverFirst never fails to appreciate and recognize their employees’ efforts at work, whether big or small. It can be in the form of a compliment, an award, an incentive, or a promotion.

Last January 2023, four loan processors were finally given their promotion after years of hardwork, dedication and perseverance. It is indeed a great way to start the year for both the employees and the company. From being rank and file employees, they have all stepped up into supervisory levels.

After spending over a year at Muzon branch, Mariel Shaira C. Valencia has finally become the Branch Head OIC of San Fernando branch last January 1, 2023.

Neil Adam G. Gutierrez was given the honor to become the first Branch Head OIC of EF’s 100th branch, Doña Soledad branch, effective January 9, 2023.

Florilyn C. Cereza, a former Loan Processor of Araneta branch for nearly three years and of Marilao branch for seven months, became Pulilan branch’s Branch Head OIC last January 16, 2023.

Lastly, Denise Marie C. Dela Cruz who spent almost four years at Malabon branch, became an Approving Officer last January 23, 2023.

They all used the same word to describe how they feel about their promotions. However, such expression is always accompanied with the word BUT. Happy, but also sad. Happy but nervous. Happy but scared. Happy but challenging.

Surely, promotion entails more responsibilities, but will also teach you more lessons. It will make you leave your previous colleagues, but it will also give you the chance to meet new people and expand your circle. The challenges that promotion may impose might frighten you, but it will also allow you to finally come out of your comfort zones.

May all your BUTs turn into the perfect opportunity to grow and be better all the time.

Congratulations on your promotions!
