Clatchel Joy Cosme - The New District Manager of EverFirst

By Kimberly Tianzon

They say growth happens when you’re no longer in your comfort zone. As someone who has been a Department Head for 9 long years and has found confidence and comfort with what she is doing, embarking on a new journey can be a bit scary for her, but she took it anyway.

Ms. Clatchel Joy V. Cosme or simply known as Ms. Chel to everyone was the head of Collection Department for 9 years and 3 months before becoming a District Manager of District 3 effective June 1, 2023. She regarded her experiences from different departments as one of the reasons on why she was chosen for the position.

She first joined EverFirst on 26th day of April 2008. She spent 2 months honing her marketing skills as a staff at Marketing Department. Shortly after, she joined the Operations Department as a Loan Processor of EF Camarin for more than a year and as a Branch Head of EF Monumento for 4 years.

Despite being already a head of Collection Department, she took her chances and opportunities to become better into a whole new level by joining another department, still as a manager, but with wider and broader customers, and with a more complex and challenging role.

Aside from her experiences, she believed that her constant love and joy for work, her formidable hard work and her undying commitment has also played an important role into becoming what she is now.

The position, the tasks, and even the people are all new to her, therefore it’s a bit challenging and exciting. However, rest assured that she’ll embody a leader that ignites people’s competitiveness and burning desire to do something amazing. Someone who will inspire and motivate people to take every problem as an opportunity to grow and be better. Someone who will unleash other people’s potential. Someone who will bear courage to accept every challenges without hesitation. And someone who will encourage oneness in reaching a certain goal.

This strategic career advancement has made her feel grateful for God’s grace and blessing, as well as overwhelmed with the trust given to her by the management.

To Ms. Chel, best of luck with the new position. Congratulations!
