Outstanding performance in compliance with environment and safety

True to its goal to protect its workers and stakeholders and minimize the risk of accidents and injuries while delivering high-quality projects to its clients, Makati Development Corporation (MDC) recognized the projects and project personnel of subcontractors who outstandingly performed and genuinely committed to the promotion of the Environment and Safety program which greatly contribute to the achievement of Accident-Free Work Place in the project site last April 28, 2023.
One of the MDC projects in Makati City under COD3 which was recognized for this achievement is Callisto Tower 1 as well as some of its project personnel including the Safety Officer of MBI named Rene Son Techon. He was recognized for this achievement due to high evaluation rating given by MDC Environment and Safety Department to MBI.
Rene Son proudly expressed that this recognition given by MDC was the result of his efficient and proper performance in his duty as a Safety Officer. “Hindi ko po inaasahan ang parangal na ito ngunit sa palagay ko po ay karapat-dapat ako sa pagkilalang ito dahil alam ko sa aking sarili na ginagampanan ko nang maayos at mahusay ang aking mga tungkulin bilang isang Safety Officer,” he stated.
MDC Environment and Safety Manager, Mr. Alvin G. Matawaran, MDC Environment and Safety Director, Mr. Joey C. Taruc, and MDC General Manager, Mr. Noel V. Yu were present to award the Plaque of Appreciation to Rene Son.
On May 26, 2023, the management of MBI awarded Rene Son with a Certificate of Recognition and a monetary reward for his outstanding performance of his duty as Safety Officer of the Callisto Tower 1 project.
This achievement and recognition received by Rene Son validate our company’s business philosophy that only when we serve customers better, faster, and at less cost than our competitors do, only then will our customers see our true value to them, and they will recognize us and reward us with greater profits.
