The search for new MBI PM

As the vacancy for MBI’s Project Manager opened in the mid of April 2023, 7 Project Engineers tried their luck to apply for this position. The applicants are Jason Amida of Grand Hyatt Residences, Francis Anzures of Callisto Tower 1, Jerome Nhiel Bedia of Sail Residences, Edmon Joy Cantona of Light 2 Residences, Ronald Demate of Callisto Tower 2, John Kevin Lazaga of East Gallery Place and Ernesto Sinanggote Jr. of North to South Commuter Railway Extension Project.
As part of the screening process, applicants were required to take four types of tests: Math, Essay Writing, Q&A on Functions of PM, and Oral Presentation. All of these tests were quite difficult, but the seven PM applicants gave their best effort in accomplishing each one.
To continue the process, several criteria are being considered by the management to come up with the best decision in choosing a Project Manager.
The engineer that will be promoted as Project Manager will be the overall in-charge of the projects assigned to him so he must know what is happening in those projects and with all his people day-in and day-out. He must also set as a good example to his team not only in terms of work performance but also on the application of our Enculturation Seminar principles.
The question now is… Who is the most qualified to take the Project Manager role?
