EverFirst pays tribute to Edgardo Rivera’s career

On October 22, 2024, Edgardo Rivera of EverFirst Loans Corporation (EF) celebrated his retirement upon reaching 25 years in service. The ceremony took place at the Maginhawa Conference Room, with the attendance of Mr. Rey Angeles, president; Ms. Luz Gastilo, HR manager; Ms. Charito Geguiera, general manager of EverFirst; Ms. Krizia Mae Oliva and Mr. Elyjoy Conde, sectoral operations managers; as well as department heads and HR assistants.
Known as “Sir Egay” to his colleagues, Rivera was hired on June 4, 1999 as a typist and computer operator at Multi-Line, before becoming a loan processor at EverFirst on June 1, 2000. A year later, he was promoted to area supervisor, supervising several branches including Pampanga, Zambales, Bataan, Valenzuela, Olongapo, Meycauayan, Novaliches, Pritil, Blumentritt, Gagalangin, Tinajeros, Malabon, Navotas and Monumento. By April 1,
2016, he was appointed district manager of the Central West District, later transferring to District 3 and then District 5.
Reflecting on his time with the company, Rivera is honored to have worked with a talented and hardworking team. He was grateful for the support, teamwork and friendship that his fellow colleagues have shared with him throughout the years.
“I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Angeles family, led by AOA and MLCA. During my time at EverFirst, I was blessed not only with incredible mentors and leaders but also with friends who became like family. May God continue to bless and protect this wonderful family,” Rivera said.
For Rivera, the company enculturation helped him value the importance of loving and taking care of our customers. “This value has been at the heart of everything we do, and I’m proud to have been a part of a team that lives it every day,” Rivera shared. “Let’s keep the values we’ve built together alive and thriving.”
For the past 25 years, Rivera has made significant contributions to the organization. Through his expertise and creative ideas, he played a vital role in the company’s successes. With his lively presence and positive energy, he embodies the company’s mission of bringing joy to every customer. In response to his request, EverFirst’s management has approved his continued service, appointing him as branch expansion officer. The company is confident that he will continue to motivate everyone around him.
