The Great Gatsby, the great comeback!

After four years, Multi-Line’s Christmas Party made a comeback last December 11, 2024 at Celebrity Sports Plaza with a theme “Together for Christmas, Together for Growth”. The event, filled with joy, gratitude, and entertainment, was a fitting tribute to the hard work and achievements of the past year. Bringing together over 800 employees, it was a festive celebration and a great time to reflect on the company’s milestones.
The evening kicked off with the resounding notes of the National Anthem, followed by an opening prayer that set the tone for a night of unity and joy. To get everyone in the mood for celebration, dancers from both Multi-Line and EverFirst graced the dance floor.
Ms. Charito Geguiera and Engr. Dino Maghirang, General Managers of EF and MBI respectively, officially opened the party by asking, “Are you ready to party?”, to which the crowd responded with a loud YES! Cheer.
With infectious energy, Mr. Louie Dee Ojide along with his friends performed a self-composed rap titled Kultura that chronicled the company’s rich history, taking the audience through its many accomplishments, challenges, and triumphs.
The celebration also featured a special moment to introduce WorldCraft as the newest company joining the Multi-Line Group. With a detailed presentation and video showcasing its innovative products, the team behind WorldCraft took the opportunity to share their special offer for ML Group employees.
Ninety (90) loyalty awardees for the year 2024 were awarded plaques in honor of their dedication and hardwork for the past 5, 10, 15, and 20 years to the company. A certificate bearing the President’s signature with a promise to give the same plaque by January 2025 to loyalty awardees since 2020-2023 were also handed at the party.
The glamorous Mr. and Ms. Gatsby pageant and the Intercompany Broadway Musical Competition added a fun, competitive flair to the evening. Contestants strutted the stage, showcasing their style, charisma, and charm in the Mr. And Ms. Gatsby pageant. Meanwhile, teams representing different companies shone in the stage, performing numbers from popular Broadway hits. The talent, creativity, and teamwork on display were nothing short of spectacular, with the audience cheering for their favorite performances. The winners were later celebrated with applause and admiration from their colleagues.
Three remarkable people were invited as honorable judges for the said competitions. Mr. Alex Mendoza, a seasoned fashion and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience. Ms. Riana Pangindian, a professional model with an exceptional experience in the pageant industry. And Ms. Myra Bendaña, a professional hair and makeup artist and personality development instructor.
After all the entertainment, a nostalgic montage showcasing the company’s journey and past Christmas parties reminded everyone of how far the company has come and the cherished traditions that have brought everyone together over the decades.
Multi-Line gave away 24 major raffle prizes that night, ranging from kitchen appliances to gadgets.
They say the highlight of every Christmas party is the drawing of raffle prizes, but to Multi-Line, it was always hearing the words of wisdom coming from the mouth of their very own President, Mr. Rey Angeles.
With heartfelt gratitude, he reflected on the company’s growth, the resilience of its people during the company’s darkest times, and the bright future ahead. According to him, the greatest asset of Multi-Line is not its technology nor its systems and procedures, but its people. The speech reminded everyone of the importance of teamwork, dedication, and the shared values that have made the company a success.
The Christmas party was more than just a celebration. With countless unforgettable moments and a deep sense of community, this event truly embodied the festive spirit and the companies’ achievements. The evening ended on a high note, with everyone leaving Celebrity Sports Plaza with smiles on their faces, cherishing the memories of a wonderful night.
