DDO hosts swimming party for all employees

On June 12, 2024, the employees of Davao Depot Operations (DDO) took advantage of the holiday and went on a one-day vacation to Samal Island.
Almost all employees from all departments—warehouse, admin, sales, engineering, and PID—along with their spouses, joined this vacation. A large boat was rented for a whole day of island hopping and swimming.
According to Ms. Flordelitz Salang, the branch admin supervisor and coordinator of the event, they decided to hold this event to boost employee morale, especially after the success of the PHILBEX Davao exposition in May 2024. They also wanted their employees, particularly the new hires, to bond and get to know each other.
The expenses were mainly covered by DDO’s employee fund, while other employees pledged to bring additional food, making the contribution affordable for everyone. Everyone took part and made the celebration a success.
