2016, then went on to pursue Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) at The University of Manila, graduating in 2017. Before her promotion, she worked as an accounting assistant at EverFirst for seven years.
Reflecting on his new role, Mr. Cardenas expressed, “It’s a bit pressured due to the increased responsibilities, but I’m always prepared for the challenges ahead. Another aspect I aim to learn more in this industry is how to actively contribute to my team. It’s not solely about my own growth but also about the growth of my teammates because the growth of one is the growth of everyone,” Mr. Cardenas stated.
For Ms. Lomibao, this promotion is a testament to her dedication to the company. “The company can expect that I will do my work responsibly. Lead my staff to be more effective and efficient employees. As the company grow, EverFirst Loans Corporation can also expect that I will keep up with the growth to align my knowledge and expertise to be an effective general accountant,” said by Ms. Lomibao.
In addition, when they were asked about what they can contribute to the company’s growth, Mr. Cardenas responded, “I will do my best in my work to always be ready for changes because new responsibilities bring new knowledge to us. I will also make sure to follow the rules and regulations of the company and provide honest and fair work. We will also make it a habit to finish tasks early so that management can consider new steps to further develop our company and help more pensioners.”
“Although there’s so many changes this year, I got married, I am going to be a mom, I was also given an opportunity as a new general accountant. It’s kind of overwhelming, in a good way, but with the support of my colleagues and husband, I will be able to overcome challenges that may arise. As a new general accountant, I’m still in my adjusting phase. Learning the process and learning to manage people. But as of now, I’m proud to say that I can manage. And will consistently do my responsibility, lead my staff, learn with them and take new challenges,” Ms. Lomibao added.
