EverFirst introduces new OIC branch heads

Shaila Marie Garcia and Angel Bert Vicente’s recent promotions to OIC branch heads mark significant milestones in their careers, reflecting their growth, ambition and readiness to lead. Shaila, who holds a degree in Business Administration from EARIST, began her career with the company on April 24, 2022, as a loan processor at the Concepcion branch. Just over two years later, on June 1, 2024, she was promoted to OIC branch head of the Parang branch. Reflecting on her promotion, she shared that she felt “Excited but nervous,” particularly about taking on new responsibilities. “I don’t know yet the flow of being an OIC, the reports I need to do, and the sales that we must meet.” Despite the initial uncertainty, her motivation is clear and strong: “It’s for my career growth… and for my family.” Her primary focus as branch head is to foster growth. “My goal is to increase our clients and sales. We will practice teamwork to achieve our goal,” Garcia shared.
On the other hand, Angel Bert, a BS Information Technology graduate from Colegio De Montalban, joined the company on September 15, 2022 as a loan processor at the Litex branch. On August 1, 2024, Angel was promoted to OIC branch head of the same branch. Upon learning the news, he described his feelings as overwhelmed and grateful. For Angel, this new role aligns with his vision for career advancement. “I am aiming high, at klaro sakin na hindi lang ako pang loan processor and that I know I can do more,” he said. As a new leader, Angel’s priority is setting the right mindset for his team. When asked about his goals for the branch, he shared, “As the new head, one of my goal is to set their mindset and to boost their confidence. Para magkaroon sila ng motivation sa work na walang work ang madali, lahat mahirap pero magagawa natin ito nang sama-sama.”
As they step into their new positions, Shaila and Angel exemplify the qualities of leaders who are not only driven by personal success but are also committed to the growth of their teams.
