Joel Sulit's journey with Multi-Line: 18 years and counting

By Rina Cruz

In an era where career-shifting and job-hopping are common, Joel Sulit shows how loyal and dedicated he is to Multi-Line. For 18 years and counting, he has handled various roles in the company.

Joel’s journey with Multi-Line began on July 3, 2006 when he was hired as an assistant mechanic for Filipinas Multi-Line Corporation (FMC). His welding skills soon caught the attention of the management, leading to his transfer to Multi-Line Systems, Inc. (MSI) as a welder on September 1, 2008. He then returned to FMC on September 1, 2012 and took the role of GPS technician, where he continued to improve his expertise in GPS.

Ready to take on new challenges, Joel transitioned to MBI on March 16, 2015 as the officer-in-charge sales supervisor for GPS. However, due to changes in the company, he returned to FMC on January 1, 2016 as a GPS technician.

Despite the challenges during the pandemic era, he continued to report to work under a flexible arrangement, working two to three times a week only. This arrangement lasted until 2023, but he did not consider leaving the company.

When asked why he chose to stay with Multi-Line for so many years, Joel’s answer was simple yet meaningful: “Kasi mahal ko ang work ko.”

Truly, Joel Sulit’s journey is a reminder of the value of dedication and loyalty of an employee in his company. His 18 years with Multi-Line show his strong commitment to the company and the work he loves.
