Cecil Ibarra’s growth with EverFirst

By Margarita Vinuya

Cecil Ibarra began her career with EverFirst Loans Corporation on April 13, 2009, as a loan processor. Within her first year, she was assigned to major branches, including Novaliches, Valenzuela, and Camarin, reflecting the company’s trust in her. She steadily advanced from branch head to area supervisor, and currently serves as district manager.

Ms. Ibarra’s first Enculturation (ENC) seminar in 2009 became a key part of her professional development. She shared that the program helped her understand the company’s core values of hard work, expertise, commitment, and high moral values, which continue to guide her leadership.

Through ENC, Ms. Ibarra learned not only to perform well at work but also to lead effectively and serve more customers. In her daily work, ENC served as a guiding principle—reminding her to stay focused despite challenges.

Among all ENC topics, Ms. Ibarra said that the 7 Steps to Paradigm Shifting had the greatest impact on her.  She explained, “It reminds me to humble myselfto accept my weaknesses and shortcomingsso I can fully embrace change, improve, and grow as a person.  It taught me to see problems as opportunities for growth.  It encourages me to seek improvement and handle difficult situations with maturity, wisdom and resilience.”

Today, Ms. Ibarra serves as an ENC speaker, guiding and motivating others to unlock their potential.

Ms. Ibarra’s story illustrates how EverFirst Loans Corporation’s culture supports growth, leadership, and service, inspiring employees to reach their full potential.
