John Nirza and Ritchel Bolina retire — but choose to continue working

By Rina Cruz

A simple retirement program was held on July 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Blue Room of Calderon Building to honor two employees who have reached retirement: John Nirza and Ritchel Bolina. Both retired under the age-based retirement category but chose to re-apply after retirement. Given their good records, management approved their requests, retaining their regular employment status. As stated in the company policy, employees are eligible to retire upon completing 25 years of service or reaching 55 years of age, whichever comes first.

Born on May 13, 1970, John Nirza started with Multi-Line on May 11, 2004, as a warehouse driver under MBI. After being a contractual employee for three months, he became a probationary employee and was regularized later that same year. In 2016, he was transferred to FMC but kept his role as warehouse driver. On January 1, 2025, he returned to MBI, where he continues to serve in the same position.

Ritchel Bolina, born on April 23, 1970, is a returnee to Multi-Line. After resigning from the company, he re-applied and was rehired on January 19, 2016, as an accounting assistant under FMC. He was promoted several times: financial analyst in 2016, finance assistant in 2018, project analyst in 2020, and financial analysis and planning manager later that year. In September 2024, he took on his current role as warehouse overall in-charge.

Although both have officially retired, John and Ritchel chose to continue working in their current positions. Their long service and dedication to Multi-Line show their commitment and loyalty to the company.

Congratulations and thank you, John and Ritchel, for your dedication — and for choosing to continue your journey with Multi-Line.
