Four decades, one continuing journey

Looking Back: Where It Began

From its humble beginnings in 1986, Multi-Line has grown through decades of change, challenges, and evolving industries. Its evolution reflects perseverance, trusted partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to responding to the evolving needs of its clients. Along the way, the company weathered major economic and global disruptions, including the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. These defining moments tested its resilience, strengthened its foundations, and reinforced the values that continue to shape the organization today.

Multi-Line’s 40th anniversary celebration at the Grand Hyatt Hotel brought together employees, family members, friends, and longtime business partners to honor the milestones that shaped its history. The evening highlighted the company’s diverse businesses, recognized valued partners, and celebrated the leadership behind its growth. It also marked the launch of Where to From Here?, a book by President Rey Angeles that chronicles Multi-Line’s journey, milestones, and the vision that continues to shape its future.

More than a milestone, the celebration honored the people, partnerships, and perseverance behind Multi-Line’s story—while paving the way for its next chapter.

The Present: Where We Stand

Today, Multi-Line has grown into a diversified organization than when it began. From just three employees, the company has grown to more than 1,400 employees, with operational offices and warehouses in Manila, Cebu, and Davao and generating annual sales of no less than ₱1 billion.

Across the company, its businesses have continued to the industries they serve.

Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. (MBI) has grown into an established systems integrator, delivering solutions across life safety, security, communication, and building automation. Its expertise span fire detection, CCTV, access control, network systems, building management, public address, LED displays, urban identity lighting systems (UILS), and other technologies.

Multi-Line Structures Corporation (MSC) continues to expand its role in architectural solutions, offering a growing range of roofing, cladding, wall, ceiling, flooring, and innovative finishes for the changing needs of the design and construction industry.

WorldCraft Furniture & Fittings Corp. (WC) provides furniture, storage, and workplace solutions, strengthening its market presence through a growing product range and expanding reach across the country.

Meanwhile, EverFirst Loans Corporation (EF) has grown to 129 branches nationwide—a remarkable milestone from its first branch in Forest Hills, Novaliches, which opened in 1997.

Together, these businesses represent the breadth of Multi-Line today—distinct in their fields, yet united by a shared foundation of service, growth, and evolution.

Looking Ahead: What Comes Next

The 40th anniversary also provided a glimpse of what lies ahead. The planned relocation of Multi-Line’s headquarters to the 36th floor of One Vertis Plaza by the end of 2026 marks a new chapter for the company, complemented by new showrooms for MBI, MSC, and WorldCraft as they prepare for continued expansion.

For MBI, the future is shaped by digital innovation, with integrated and cloud-connected building systems, urban identity lighting systems (UILS), and entertainment technologies such as LED walls, professional audio, and stage lighting.

For MSC, innovation means developing better alternatives to conventional materials. Its expanding range of vinyl floorings, wood veneers, and innovative finishes reflects its drive to help clients build faster, better, and at less cost without compromising quality.

For WC, growth means expanding both its products and reach—from new steel cabinet designs, vertical cabinets, heavy-duty rack options, and high-end office chairs to its upcoming San Fernando, Pampanga branch.

For EF, the next milestone is reaching 200 branches by 2028, supported by plans for a North Sector office to strengthen operations and extend its reach to more communities.

Together, these initiatives point to a company that is not simply preserving its legacy, but building upon it. As Multi-Line enters its fifth decade, it moves forward with innovation, expansion, and a continued commitment on creating value for the industries and communities it serves.
