Multi-Line executives honored with distinguished awards
By Margarita Vinuya

Multi-Line President Mr. Aurelio O. Angeles (AOA) and VP for Finance and Administration Mrs. Ma. Lourdes C. Angeles (MLCA) were recently honored with prestigious awards, recognizing their leadership and meaningful contributions in their respective fields.
AOA, a Master in Business Management graduate of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Class of 1975, was among five outstanding alumni who received the AIM Alumni Achievement Award, or “Triple A”, from the Federation of AIM Alumni Associations, Inc. (FAIM) during a ceremony held on March 7, 2026 at The Manila Hotel. The award is AIM’s highest distinction for alumni who exemplify excellence in professional achievement, leadership, and community impact.
Meanwhile, MLCA, a proud alumna of St. Teresa’s College–Quezon City, High School Batch 1966, received the Teresa’s Achievement Award during the STCQC Alumnae Association Grand Homecoming on January 31, 2026 held at the school compound. The award recognizes outstanding alumnae who embody humility, integrity, and compassion while making a positive impact in their fields and communities.
AOA: Leadership Rooted in Humility
Upon learning that he was among the recipients of the Triple A Award, AOA expressed deep gratitude and was convicted that he was doing right in placing value to the people above technology, capital, systems and procedures.
Throughout his journey, he drew inspiration from the works of Dr. Robert Schuller, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, John Maxwell, and Stephen Covey, whose teachings helped shape his leadership philosophy. In his acceptance speech, AOA shared one of the most important lessons from his AIM experience—humility, or pagpapakumbaba.
As he reflected in his acceptance speech, “The higher we rise, the more we remain students—still listening, still asking, still learning.”
For AOA, the success of others remains his greatest inspiration. “When they succeed, I am happy,” he shared. “Their success tells me that I must strive to do even better so they can attain even greater success.”
And his advice to young professionals who aspire for a meaningful impact, “Think what you want to be in life. That becomes MITHIIN and turns into a PROBLEMA. PROBLEMA leads on to have goals which then converts into AMBISYON. Then, AMBISYON requires BISYON. Then, SAKRIPISYON and finally KOMISYON.”
MLCA: A Life of Service and Compassion
MLCA is actively involved in the Inner Wheel Club of Quezon City, where she served as President from 2002 to 2003, and the Zonta Club of Manila, where she served as Treasurer in 2014.
Through these organizations, she supported programs for underprivileged children, including a Day Care Center in Kamuning, Quezon City and feeding initiatives for children in Kaingin, Barangay Pansol, Quezon City, as well as educational outreach and scholarship programs in public schools.
Beyond community service, she also values opportunities that foster stronger camaraderie among members, such as out-of-town activities and Holy Week retreats.
MLCA expressed deep gratitude to St. Teresa’s College in Quezon City, the institution that helped shape her values and character.
She also shared how deeply touched she was by the recognition, reflecting that the different opportunities she has had to help, serve, and uplift others are deemed worthy of such distinction. As she beautifully expressed, “It has brought me a sense of fulfillment and gratitude—that a life lived in service, no matter how quiet or unseen, has great value and purpose.”
Presently, she is inspired by a quote from Maimonides which is “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” And one major way of teaching a man to fish is by providing him with education, the most powerful tool he can use to be self-reliant.
Their achievements bring pride to Multi-Line and inspire others to pursue excellence in leadership and service. Congratulations!
