Multi-Line visits YD Illumination in Hangzhou and introduces the Urban Identity Lighting System

From March 1 to 3, 2026, Multi-Line President Mr. Rey Angeles, MBI Engineering Manager Engr. Allan De Mesa, and MSC Business Development Manager Ar. Rene John Asa traveled to Hangzhou, China to visit the headquarters and manufacturing facility of Hangzhou YD Illumination Co., Ltd.

The team conducted the visit as part of Multi-Line’s initiative to explore lighting technologies that can complement its portfolio of building electronics and auxiliary systems. As a digital total solutions provider, Multi-Line continues to integrate technologies that meet the evolving demands of modern developments and urban environments.

Hangzhou YD Illumination Co., Ltd. specializes in outdoor architectural and landscape LED lighting systems. Established in 1984, the company operates a 60,000-square-meter manufacturing facility in Hangzhou, China and employs approximately 500 to 1,000 personnel. It exports products to more than 80 countries and has completed over 30,000 outdoor lighting projects worldwide. YD Illumination’s product portfolio includes LED linear lights, wall washers, pixel or point lights, floodlights, media façade lighting systems, and lighting control systems, which are commonly used for building façade illumination, bridges and landmarks, parks, tourist attractions, and media façade displays.

During the visit, the Multi-Line team toured YD Illumination’s production and manufacturing facilities and observed the company’s manufacturing processes and quality control procedures. The team reviewed various product tests, including luminous intensity testing, impact and pressure tests, temperature tests under both hot and cold conditions, and dispersion tests. They also observed the various quality checks performed on the lighting fixtures, including IP (Ingress Protection) testing to verify the products’ resistance to dust and water.

The team met with YD Illumination’s senior management and owners to discuss operations and product capabilities. They also visited several outdoor lighting installations across Hangzhou that feature YD Illumination systems.

On March 12, 2026, Mr. Angeles, together with MBI General Manager Engr. Dino Maghirang, MBI Engineering Manager Engr. De Mesa, MSC District Manager Luisito Valenzuela, MSC Sales Engineer Jayvee Kitane, MSC Business Development Manager Ar. Asa, and Mr. Aristeo Tengco, met with key executives of Megaworld Corporation. Representing Megaworld were Ar. Jennifer Romualdez, senior vice president and head of the operations management division; Ms. Analou Diaz, assistant vice president and CPD head – OPS 2; Ms. Nanette Selva, vice president of contracts and procurement department II; and Engr. Leng Yee, first vice president of contracts and procurement I.

During the meeting, Multi-Line introduced the Urban Identity Lighting System, a new addition to the company’s product lines. The system provides architectural and outdoor lighting solutions designed to enhance the visual identity of developments and urban spaces.
