James Bungcayao continues service after 25 years with Multi-Line

After more than 25 years with the Multi-Line Group of Companies, James Bungcayao reached retirement under company policy but continued working after approval from management.
James began on February 1, 2001 as a computer operator under Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. He was transferred after six months as a typist, where he stayed for more than three years. In 2004, he became an advertising supervisor under Multi-Line Design Systems, Inc. In 2011, he continued as advertising supervisor under Multi-Line Systems, Inc. He joined Filipinas Multi-Line Corporation in 2012 and remains an advertising supervisor to date.
Under company policy, employees may retire upon reaching 25 years of service or 55 years of age, whichever comes first. James qualified based on his years of service and was granted retirement benefits. After retirement, he requested to continue working, and management approved his request.
A retirement program was held in his honor on May 4, 2026 at the Calderon Building. Present at the event were the advertising team headed by John Paul Lagado, District Sales Managers Luisito Valenzuela, Lilibeth Depasupil and Mark Joseph Jabat, Business Development Manager Ar. Rene John Asa, Operations Manager for PID Engr. Michael Florendo, Engineering Manager Engr. Nathaniel Myles Tagle, CMG Supervisor Leonisa Buñag, HR Manager Luz Gastilo, and President Rey Angeles.
James’ story reflects the loyalty and commitment of employees who have spent decades growing with the company, along with the relationships, trust, and sense of belonging built through the years.
