By Rochelle Dycoco
Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. (MBI) has successfully completed the nationwide deployment of a CCTV system with central monitoring for the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHILPOST), marking another significant government project for the company and further strengthening its track record in delivering integrated security systems for government institutions.
Awarded through a public bidding process, the project carried a contract value of ₱14,770,000.00. The project was awarded on December 22, 2025, followed by contract signing on January 5, 2026, and issuance of Notice to Proceed on January 12, 2026. It was completed within a 90-calendar-day implementation period, highlighting Multi-Line’s ability to successfully deliver large-scale projects within a demanding schedule.
The project covered 53 PHILPOST sites across NCR, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. To support PHILPOST’s security modernization efforts, MBI deployed a total of 505 high-definition CCTV cameras, consisting of bullet, dome, and PTZ cameras installed across postal facilities nationwide.
All sites are connected to a central monitoring system located at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City, using the HikCentral Professional platform, allowing centralized monitoring of all 53 sites from a single command center and improving visibility and coordination across PHILPOST facilities.
The implementation required close coordination between the engineering, project implementation, and technical support teams to ensure consistent execution across all sites within the project timeline.
The engineering team includes Sales Engineer Elmer Dacula, Sales Supervisor Andrea Ungco, Engineering Manager Engr. Allan De Mesa, Engineering Supervisor Engr. Louie Jon Antuine, and Systems Design Engineer Engr. Mark Joseph Gandoza.
Project implementation was led by Operations Managers Engr. Remelia Firme and Engr. Francis Kenneth Billones, together with project managers and project engineers deployed across multiple regions.
System configuration, testing, and commissioning were handled by the Technical Support Group led by Engr. Walter Kit Fernandez and Engr. Karim Bongarsa, ensuring full integration of all sites into the centralized monitoring platform.
This project further reinforces Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. as a trusted Digital Total Solutions Provider, demonstrating its capability to deliver complex projects on a nationwide scale. The successful completion reflects the hard work, coordination, and commitment of the teams who contributed to its delivery.
The project reflects Multi-Line’s commitment to connecting people, sites, and systems into smart, safe, and efficient environments.
