MSC lands P29.5-million MRT-7 rain protection project

Multi-Line Structures Corporation (MSC) has secured a P29.5 million contract from SMC Mass Rail Transit 7, Inc. for the rain protection project covering Stations 3 to 12 of the MRT-7 line.

The project involves the supply and installation of EarthBond Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP) for several MRT-7 stations located primarily along the Commonwealth Avenue and Quirino Highway corridors in Quezon City, extending toward the Caloocan City boundary.  The contract was successfully closed by Sales Engineer Danica Limsia.

Danica credited the successful acquisition of the project to the collective efforts of the MSC team.  She expressed her appreciation to Sales Manager Mark Joseph Jabat for his guidance and support, Engineering Manager Engr. Nathaniel Myles Tagle for providing technical assistance, Operations Manager Engr. Michael Florendo and Project Manager Philip Simon Catangui for their valuable contributions, Project Engineer Engr. Joshua Jose, and Estimator Steve Arguelles for their project support.

Danica also extended her special thanks to Multi-Line President Rey Angeles for approving the contract’s discount and payment terms, which helped make the project award possible.

To celebrate the successful award of the contract, Mr. Angeles hosted a dinner for MSC team whose collective efforts contributed to securing the project.  The gathering was held at North Park restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City, on June 22, 2026, in recognition of the team’s hard work, dedication, and collaboration in bringing the project to fruition.

The project is one of the major contracts secured by MSC this year and adds to the company’s involvement in infrastructure developments. It also reflects the teamwork and coordination of the employees who contributed to the successful award of the project.
