PROJECT BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Autism affects approximately 1–2% of the global population, while an estimated 1.2 million Filipinos are on the autism spectrum. This thesis explores how sensory-sensitive environments and assistive technologies can foster more inclusive senior high school and college education, envisioning a learning environment where students with autism are empowered to reach their full potential. More than an academic requirement, this thesis is a love letter to my ausome brother, my family, and the autism community—a tribute to their resilience, advocacy, and unwavering belief in the abilities and potential of autistic individuals.
