MBI inks agreement with SMDC for Glade Residences

Mr. Jonathan Jurada of Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. (MBI) sealed an agreement with SM Development Corporation (SMDC) amounting to P10,700,000.00 for the FDAS works of Glade Residences (Buildings H, I, J, K & A) project located at Jaro, Iloilo.
The Notice of Award and Notice to Proceed was issued by SMDC last December 27, 2023. This also marked the 1st day of the commencement of the project which has a project timeline of 12 months.
When asked what our edge was over our competitors in this bidding, he confidently said, “Noong Best and Final Negotiation with SMDC Bid Committee tayo ang unang tinawag sa karamihan ng bidders na naghihintay. Pagkapasok ko sa loob sinabi agad nung bid committee na sa MBI ina-award ang FDAS works ng Glade Residences. Ang basis raw
nito ay ang magandang performance ng MBI sa on-going projects nito sa SMDC at ang completeness and compliance ng bid na sinubmit for FDAS works ng Glade Residences. After ng meeting namin with bid committee, hindi na kinausap ang iba pang bidders at ininform sila na awarded na ang project,” he added. He expressed his gratitude to the Project Implementation Department for their outstanding performance on our ongoing FDAS projects which was a big factor in the awarding of the FDAS works of the Glade Residences project to MBI; to the Engineering Department for their usual support during the process; and to his immediate head Mr. Dino Maghirang for the guidance and support in closing this prestigious project with SMDC.
