Ronel Pida: The New Chief Accountant of MBI

Starting February 20, 2023, Ronel Pida is the new Chief Accountant of Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. He is directly reporting to Richie Chavez, the Finance Manager.
Ron was a Cum Laude graduate of BS Accountancy in Partido State University last 2015. To further enhance his knowledge and skills, he took Master in Business Administration in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila from 2017 to 2019 in which he was given an Academic Excellence Award.
Prior to Multi-Line, Ron had worked in retail and pharmaceutical industries for around 8 years where he gained his exposure in auditing and finance.
When asked on how he can contribute to the growth of the organization, Ron said: “As one of the Chief Accountants of Multi-Line, my role to its growth is to manage the accounting team of MBI to produce the expected deliverables of the top management such as 1) timeliness of payment processing to supplier, 2) accurate and timely recording of day-to-day transaction in SAP, 3) timely reporting of aging receivables report to C & C Department to attain timelines on collection of aging accounts and improve collection efficiency rate, 4) accurate validation and review of different transactions of the company, 5) recommend strategic plan on how to improve more the cash flow of the company or on specific project and many more.”

According to Ron, he can commit himself and share his expertise to support the company’s goal by helping his team in fixing the current problems or issues they encounter. He also commended the competitive advantage of the company and its corporate values (hardwork, commitment, expertise and high moral values) that is connected to the humble beginnings of the owner, Rey Angeles, because it inspires him a lot to do more for his new work.
Ron will surely experience various challenges as one of the leaders in the company but one thing is for sure, these will greatly help him to perform his work better.
