To secure a major project with one of the most prestigious university in the Philippines and the oldest to exist in Asia was an achievement for Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc.

MBI’s recent accomplishment was an 18.5 million-peso project with the University of Sto. Tomas. This achievement was the result of Ms. Brooks Shields Gallero, the Product Sales Consultant, and her team’s expertise, negotiation skills and strategies.

The final bid breakdown happened last December 1, 2023, and a Notice of Award or Notice to Proceed was drafted last December 6. The day 1 of the project is believed to commence immediately upon the receipt of the Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed on May 20, 2024.

UST gave MBI the honor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment and other services needed to complete the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Henry Sy Sr. Hall. Specifically, MBI was chosen for the supply and installation of CCTV cameras, and provide structured cabling for the same building.

Gallero did not achieve this alone. Engr. Eloisa Caisip and Ms. Gechelle Joy Arellano, the Systems Design Engineers, aided with the estimates and joined Gallero in meetings. Engr. Louie Jon Antuine, the Engineering Supervisor, and Engr. Allan De Mesa, the Engineering Manager, supported Gallero during the pre-bid, bid opening and technical configurations with the supplier; and Engr. Dino Maghirang, the General Manager, accompanied Gallero during the final negotiation, all contributing to successfully closing the deal with the client.

Congratulations on securing this significant project! May this pave the way for an even more successful projects in the future!
