MBI’s excellent project management led to 5.53M-worth Extension of Time

By Krizia Mae Oliva

In construction, observing the project’s work schedule is very important. Extension of Time (EOT) happens when there is a delay in the project which may be due to unforeseen events or may be caused by other contractors.

In the East Gallery Place project, Makati Development Corporation grants MBI a P5.535 million-worth of additional cost for the approved EOT. The amount includes preliminaries, utilities, bonds, and insurances.

MBI’s successful claim for an extension of time and related overhead costs demonstrates the complete and meticulous documentation by Project Engineer John Kevin Lazaga, Project Manager Deo Ligsay, and Operations Manager Francis Billones. They secure a work delay report with complete pictures and narratives for this to happen.

This not only signify the team’s compliance and competence but also their good project management.

Congratulations to the team!
