Special Projects and Career Advancement Application can now be done online

By Fauline Go

From printing of several papers, Multi-Line and EverFirst streamlined the application and submission of projects for special reward and career advancement by putting the procedure online. This is made possible due to the expertise of John Vincent Palmaira, System Programmer of Filipinas Multi-Line Corporation.

Palmaira created an online system namely Special Project and Employee Career Advancement Monitoring System which each employee may propose and submit projects without the need of paper. After submitting the project, it can be instantly forwarded to the beneficiaries for approval, where the project can be quickly marked as approved or not approved with a single click. Using this, each concerned can easily monitor the status of the submitted projects.

The system can be used by accessing the link: https://www.project.multi-linegroupofcompanies.com/, then log-in using the username and password. Its dashboard has the following features: All Project Proposal, For Receiving Proposal, Received Proposal, On-going Project, COCA for Approval, RPO for Approval, Completed Project and Expired Project. It is a big help in monitoring of the project progress and status.

According to Palmaira, as a fresh graduate, this endeavor has proven to be challenging. However, with the assistance of his colleagues and superior, the special project was completed successfully, resulting him to receive a monetary incentive.

In a short interview, Palmaira said, “Sobrang natutuwa ako kasi first time ko gumawa ng project sa company and first work ko din ito after maka-graduate ng college, tapos sa IT department agad ako nakapasok.

Palmaira finished the system on March 31, 2023. The system was first used in Davao and Cebu for testing on April 2023. Finally, it was fully implemented starting May 1, 2023 until the time being.
