MBI welcomes its New Chief Accountant

Multi-Line Building Systems, Inc. is delighted to introduce its newest team member, Mark Anthony F. Villaflores, who is stepping into the role of Chief Accountant. Mark officially commenced his journey with MBI on July 24, 2023, marking a significant stride towards fortifying MBI’s financial management.
Having graduated in Management Accounting from Saint Louis College in 2008, Mark brings along a wealth of experience spanning 14 years. His professional journey led him to the position of an Accounting Supervisor in his previous employment, where he undertook various crucial responsibilities.
This encompassed crafting comprehensive Financial Statements for the company and managing the intricate task of handling tax returns, including EWT, Compensation, FWT, and ITR. He also held the responsibility of overseeing day-to-day financial operations, such as managing payments and receivables, in addition to collaborating closely with internal and external auditors to ensure thorough documentation of all financial affairs.
When queried about his aspirations for this new role, Mark expressed his determination, saying, “My aim is to be a responsible Chief Accountant, making sure that the company’s rules and procedures are followed meticulously. By ensuring that all reports sent to the Finance Manager and other teams are accurate and precise, I hope to set a standard of excellence. As a leader, I also want to promote a positive and cooperative atmosphere, building good relationships with every department in the company.”
Elaborating on his goals, Mark’s vision is clear: “I am dedicated to surpassing expectations in my role as Chief Accountant. I want to provide outstanding service to our internal teams by delivering accurate and timely reports from the Accounting Department. As I lead the Accounting team at MBI, my goal is to coordinate expectations across different functions, like inventory, receivables, and payables, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.”
